Identity and portrayal
Appearance
Short, slight and agile, with a round freckled face, slightly upturned nose, wide brown eyes and tanned skin. The legacy profile gives five feet two and 80 pounds. Hair is unresolved across sources: the current Part One text calls it brown, the older profile says auburn and approved/reused visuals range from brown to warm auburn. Treat 'brown with warm auburn variance' as a website caution, not a new lock. Later Book One states include dirt and injuries, a permanent Stelixian slave tattoo on the inner left wrist, disguise wigs, practical climbing clothing, magical leather clothing and the bawdy-but-PG House of Seven Faces costume.
Voice and manner
Fast, irreverent, curious and emotionally immediate. Bea jokes under pressure, resents control and often acts before authority can stop her. Close third-person narration should retain her physical awareness, hunger for movement and sharp sensitivity to captivity or ownership.
Skills, Essan and limitations
Climbing, running, agility, balance, knife work, improvisation, disguise, Karrak instincts, social performance under pressure and the Sight used to read hidden maps, paths and ancient systems. Magical clothes assist her but must not replace effort or consequence.
Knowledge limits
Bea learns the truth of Aventis/Talventis as one city, Sharma's bloodline role, the crown and jewel mechanism, the Blessed bargain and elements of Myak interest in her as a Reader. She ends with incomplete knowledge of Titus and the siblings' exact circumstances.
