Later-life visualThe existing older Jorgen image is deliberately retained and is not a young-Jorgen portrait.

Identity and portrayal

Appearance

At about forty-six in the legacy profile he is six feet six, tall, lean and muscular, with tanned skin, brown eyes and old scars across his body and face. The older portrait shows long dark hair, a dark beard and the prominent facial scarring the user has already identified as Jorgen's later-life appearance. His cursed/bear state is powerful but not yet represented by an approved reusable visual.

Voice and manner

Spare, practical and protective. He uses dry humour and commands rather than speeches, and becomes most emotionally direct when danger forces him to name guilt or responsibility.

Skills, Essan and limitations

Tracking, woodland survival, archery, fieldcraft, close combat, command of Hound and enormous cursed strength. The bear transformation grants power at a severe physical and moral cost; it is not a consequence-free combat mode.

Knowledge limits

He knows the Antonius household, Bronwen's intentions, ranger routes and parts of the Blessed/crooked-crown threat. The precise mechanics and full origin of his curse remain incomplete in the current record.

Source status

Current working character Bible; full spoilers; author review required.

Visual status

The existing older Jorgen portrait remains the established later-life reference. The Norvisca image interprets him as a much younger, clean-shaven woodcutter in Gyllenfall with the white bear cloak; it passed the palette gate but does not lock exact adolescent age, facial development, costume or scar chronology.

Core psychology

External goal

Protect Bea, honour Bronwen's charge and keep the curse from harming those he loves.

Internal need

Accept that restraint is not the same as isolation and that his life can still belong among other people.

Fear

Losing himself to the bear power and repeating the harm that drove him from Gyllenfall.

Defining flaw or pressure

He assumes danger is safest when carried alone, making secrecy and self-exile his recurring answer.

Arc by story stage

Gyllenfall youth

Rescues Ingrid, struggles with dangerous strength, faces village fear and learns that good intentions do not erase harm.

Goblins and the Blessed

Defends village and captives, encounters the Blessed and the crooked-crown threat, and accepts that the curse must be understood.

Departure

Leaves as Bjorn and Astrid's son, carrying Ingrid's ribbon, Bjorn's knife and the white bear cloak.

Book One

Acts as Bea's ranger, trainer and protector after Bronwen's death while the curse and old wounds remain active.

Open questions

Surname forms

The legacy profile says Andringar while the companion manuscript ends with Andringer; no silent correction is made.

Young visual

The Norvisca atlas now includes a younger website review interpretation. It does not lock Jorgen's exact adolescent age, face, costume or scars and is not an approved reusable master.

Curse chronology

Later canon should state when the curse became the specific bear state known in Book One.
