Appearance
The current prose establishes a hardened, experienced commander rather than a precise age or measurement. Existing prologue artwork presents a weathered, dark-haired, bearded man in bronze-and-leather armour with a deep-crimson cloak. That visual is useful for identity, equipment and bearing, but its subdued brown grading fails the newer project palette gate.
Voice and manner
Direct, disciplined and authoritative in command; warmer, wry and more vulnerable when speaking of home. He is comfortable issuing lethal orders but is not casual about lives. With trusted companions he permits humour, regret and open frustration with imperial politics.
