Identity and portrayal

Appearance

Legacy appearance: a tall, lean, tanned white woman with sharp features, grey eyes, black hair, facial and arm scars, tattoos and dark fitted leather armour. She carries a heavy curved close-combat knife and a smaller throwing blade. The legacy Italy/Mediterranean backstory does not belong in the current fantasy continuity and is excluded.

Voice and manner

Blunt, sceptical and profane, with humour that tends to arrive as a threat. She does not waste words reassuring people, but her continued presence is often the reassurance.

Skills, Essan and limitations

Knife fighting, throwing blades, adventuring judgement, tunnel movement, pain endurance and tactical protection. No Essan ability is established.

Knowledge limits

Knows the Adventurers' market, crew practice and enough of the underground route to recognise when guidance is uncertain. She is not a scholar of Aventis's ancient systems.

Source status

Current working character Bible; full spoilers; author review required.

Visual status

Bright daylight, readable skin, black leather and warm-stone separation; modern-Earth backstory is rejected separately. Bright daylight and readable black-leather silhouette; alternate identity state remains unapproved.

Core psychology

External goal

Complete the job, protect the crew she has accepted and prevent other people's schemes from getting her killed.

Internal need

Admit that loyalty can be chosen without surrendering caution or independence.

Fear

Betrayal by an employer or companion and dying for somebody else's grand cause.

Defining flaw or pressure

Her suspicion can become hostility before she has enough evidence, and pride makes retreat difficult.

Arc by story stage

Adventurers' crew

Begins as a guarded member of the group assessing Bea and the contract.

Aventis routes

Joins the underground journey and repeatedly challenges uncertain directions.

Restoration fight

Stays through the final danger and suffers a serious wound near the bridge.

Aftermath

Survives with Julia, Messalina and Alfie's help, cursing anyone who suggests otherwise.

Open questions

Crew history

The exact relationship with Tarin and the adventuring crew needs a concise canon summary.

Post-Book-One path

Her destination after recovery is not established.

Visual approval

Legacy portrait remains review reference only.
