Appearance

The manuscript establishes a large, physically confident Stelixian man who can lift Bea and whose presence is familiar among the fishing people. It does not yet provide a sufficiently exact face, age, hair or costume description for continuity-safe portrait generation.

Voice and manner

Dry, provocative and deliberately unnerving. He often states useful truths immediately after a joke that makes others question whether they should trust him.

Trade networks, negotiation, legal knowledge of Skavos slavery, maritime routes, intelligence gathering and physical strength. No rune or Essan ability is established in Book One.
