Gyllenfall, the mountain roads and the western caves of Jorgen's first adventure—linked without hiding where the map and manuscript still disagree.
Jorgen's childhood village
01
Gyllenfall
A remote woodcutting village in a shallow valley between snow-heavy pine forest and the lower mountain slopes. Gyllenfall trades timber, furniture, furs and hides for grain, salt, iron and cloth. Its square, hall, shrine, well, woodstore, smithy, general store, western gate and family workshops become the centre of Jorgen's childhood, banishment, return and departure.

Regional landscape · review interpretation
Norvisca in view
A cinematic overview of the sea, forests, settlement country and mountain walls. It conveys the region's character without claiming to be pixel-exact cartography.
Bjorn, Astrid and Jorgen leave an earlier fishing village. They have lived in Gyllenfall for three years when the story opens.
02
The ice rescue
At ten, Jorgen pulls Ingrid from thawing pond ice. Erik gives him the white bear cloak, and Ingrid keeps the secret of the unnatural heat and strength she felt.
03
Five winters of work
Jorgen becomes a woodcutter, saves men beneath a falling tree and struggles to keep the force inside him under control.
04
The crooked crown appears
Organised goblins move south-west of their usual routes, bearing a three-slash crooked-crown mark and following an unseen purpose.
05
Banishment and the mountain road
After losing control at the festival dance, Jorgen is banished. Calen trains him, then sends him through a shallow pass towards the Blessed temple.
06
Temple and village attacked
Jorgen finds the temple ruined and races back with a warning. Gyllenfall is struck from the west; Bjorn dies and villagers including Ingrid are taken.
07
The western-cave rescue
Jorgen and volunteers free the captives. He defeats the Goblin King while choosing to protect the vulnerable rather than pursue revenge.
08
The road to Gamla
Gyllenfall mourns and rebuilds. Jorgen leaves with the surviving Blessed to learn the truth about his power and warn the larger temple.
Onward route
Gamla
The larger temple of the Blessed is Jorgen's next destination after Gyllenfall. It is manuscript-confirmed but not pinned because its exact position is not established on this regional map.
Later life · separate region
Jorgen's Madreas hut
The round ranger hut near Bea's estate belongs to Jorgen's later life. It is not his childhood home and does not sit in Norvisca.
Naming evidence
What remains unresolved
The world map says Norvisca while the close-map filename says Norviska. The close map names Jarn and Yggdrasil; the manuscript uses Iron Mountains. Habano and the expanded “Temple of Heile” name are map-only. The Atlas keeps those differences visible.
